1st Annual Warrior Walk for Suicide Prevention 2024

On Saturday, May 11th, 2024, Working Dogs for Warriors had their very first annual Warrior Walk in Fontana, CA. There were over 350 people who attended, including congresswoman Norma Torres who presented a large check for almost 1 million dollars, ($963,000) to support our Veterans.

The walk focused on the wellness of our beloved first responders, veterans, and community members to help raise essential funding for multiple mental health programs, all provided by Working Dogs for Warriors while bringing together the community at Fontana Park. With fellow faithful servants, they had generous donors from local eateries and other companies who gave all their thousands of earnings from the day to Working Dogs for Warriors. This event included locally available resources, businesses, and organizations that provide public services for the Fontana community. Their mission is to directly address the wellness needs of service members and the residents of Fontana. Join the growing community of the brave men and women who protect our freedom and safety 24/7!
