Baptize California Recap

On Pentecost Sunday 2024, Oceans Church led a movement called Baptize California. With the flagship location being at Huntington Beach, CA. A vision that was given to pastor Mark Francey of Oceans Church five years ago by God.

Hundreds of churches and fellow pastors throughout the entire state of California joined in on what became the largest synchronized baptism ever.

Baptize California was a prophetic movement that came to pass by God. We truly experienced a historical event in Southern California, first-hand.

The fact that 12,000 people were baptized across the state of California was not by chance, rather it was something that only God can do. 12,000 souls were saved, and the angels and heaven truly rejoice!

From the moment we stepped onto the warm California sand of Huntington Beach, the presence of the Holy Spirit was so tangible.

As people came up from the water there were ministry teams immediately ready to pray over them. While that was happening prayer circles constantly formed all around the beach. Friends praying for their friends, family members for their family, or people who didn’t know each other asking others how they could pray for them. The church was truly united.

Whether you looked straight ahead, left, or right, behind you, people were praying and having conversations about God. Peace, joy, and love are the words to describe the atmosphere.

Truly a glimpse of heaven on earth.

As worship was led by Christian artists such as Martin Smith, Bethel Music, and Alexander Pappas; thousands of souls were being immersed in the waters getting baptized.

Sean Feucht, who was also one of the worship leaders, prayed over Generation Z, which we are sure tremendously impacted the youth’s hearts and minds that day.
