Lighthouse Church of the Nazarene is celebrating its 75th Anniversary!

I had the honor of meeting Pastor Phil at a Leadership meeting here in Costa Mesa. He is a bright character who loves the Lord. When I introduced myself to him, he joyfully responded, “The radio? That’s great!” Later on, he came into the studio and we we sat down to talk about his church and who his favorite bible teachers are he said, ” I don’t watch much TV or listen to too much radio, but I do listen  to AM 740.” That’s when I told him we are KBRT! 🙂 We both laughed and instantly started sharing stories of what programs we like to listen to and why. Pastor Phil Eyskens is a loyal servant who cares deeply for his community. He recently received approval to house 14 homeless.

This is not an ordinary event with all the bells and whistles. This is a special place, with a church staff that serves its community with the word of God and feeds anyone who stays for the sermon. Pastor Phil and his team have been doing this for 75 years at the same church in the same corner.
